Child Individual Therapy
Young children show their emotional and mental distress through their behaviors, whether they are angry and aggressive or oversensitive and isolated. As a parent, you are likely looking for support because these behaviors are beginning to concern you. We can support
your child through their difficult circumstances and feelings to ultimately reduce their acting out behaviors and improve their symptoms using all types of learning styles, modalities, interventions, and strategies.
teen individual therapy
Teenagers are in a difficult part of their journey where they need your support and guidance
but also look to find their own identities and self-worth. They are often managing big stressors, like school, friendships, and significant others, but are still developing the skills and understanding to know how to manage them effectively. It can be difficult to know what to do as a parent to support their growth into adulthood. We can help your teenager process their circumstances and situations in a safe environment, guide them towards healthy decisions, and support them through a tough time in their lives.

young adult individual Therapy
Many times, children feel like they may be the only one who struggles with depression, grief, anxiety, social skills, etc. Sometimes listening, engaging, and learning in a group setting creates less guilt, loneliness, and feeling of rejection knowing that others their age are facing similar experiences. In group therapy, a therapist can address the group, but also the child individually foster opportunities for growth. The therapist will lead the group, engage the children in interesting and fun ways, and instead of growing alone they are able to growth in community.
Family Therapy
Children’s difficulties and struggles can also be incredibly taxing and weigh on the family as a whole. A child may need support to express their feelings and needs to parents or siblings, but also sometimes family members need to have the opportunity to open up to the child. These are moments to create togetherness and work together to make relationships better. We can bridge the gap between the family, create open communication, and help everyone in the family understand each other better.

parental sessions
Parents are such an important part of the therapeutic process. As the child grows and changes, it’s important for parents to also be learning about the child’s needs, wants, and what they can do to support the child. Parents can gain valuable skills and strategies that can make a lifelong impact on their child’s mental, emotional, and behavioral health. Parents sometimes do not know how to handle certain behaviors and struggles of a child, and that’s okay. We all know the parenting journey is not always easy, so let us support you and help improve your parenting skills and strategies for your child specifically.
